Description

Los Chalets de Huachucocha are open in all seasons by prior reservation, with a minimum stay of 3 days.

Los Chalets de Huachucocha are located at 4250 m a.s.l., near laguna Huachucocha and approximately 2 hours from Chavín de Huántar. There are five independent chalets built of stone and wood, ideal for families, groups or couples wishing to spend a few days in peaceful surroundings.

From the chalets, you can access various activities and routes nearby. These include mountain biking, the northern Camino Inca, hikes towards lagunas Huachucocha and Rayumaquashga, and the route to Capilla María Madre de Dios. You can also do the Camino de la Arista (via ferrata), and there are around 10 climbing routes in the area.

You can also hike between Huachucocha and Quinhuaragra (approx. 3 hours) and visit Museo Arqueológico de Chavín de Huántar, along with other nearby cultural attractions.
